The JEUPISTE project, together with COSMOS 2020 and Space Japan, organised a workshop in Tokyo on the Horizon 2020 Space Programme on 19 May 2016, 10:00-16:00 at the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation in Tokyo. This workshop is targeted to the Japanese Space industry and R&D community interested in R&D collaboration and joint applications development with the EU under Horizon 2020.

The workshop offered:

  • A detailed explanation about the European Union’s Space related calls for 2016-2017 on Earth Observation, Satellite Navigation (GALILEO) and Space technologies;
  • Information on participation of Japanese organisations in the Horizon 2020 Space Programme and information to prepare a competitive project proposal;
  • Q&A with members of the European Space National Contact Point network “COSMOS2020” (http://ncp-space.net/) about how to apply to these calls, and how to search for call partners in Europe
